Commercial Lenders in the Southeast Come to Savannah to Discuss Small Business Issues

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Aug. 23, 2023 - PRLog -- The Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) will host its first Lender's League Forum at the Savannah Golf Club, on Thursday August 24, 2023.  SBAC has invited the region's commercial banking presidents, CEO's, lenders, and partners to attend this exclusive event and participate in an open forum discussion on the economic challenges small business are facing.

SBAC will host two prominent guest speakers, Michael Chriszt, Vice President and Regional Engagement Officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, and economist Dr. Michael Toma, Professor of Economics at Georgia Southern University. Each speaker will provide insights into today's economic climate, followed by a question-and-answer session with attendees.

In a personal written invitation to bank presidents and CEOs, Tony O'Reilly, President of SBAC, underlines the of value holding an open forum discussion among industry colleagues. "As we navigate a period of rising interest rates, tightening credit, and increasing bank regulations…, it becomes crucial to maintain and create access to affordable business capital. This event provides a platform to address these challenges and explore strategies to support small businesses in our region."
