The Teen Culinary Challenge goes beyond a culinary competition, it's a platform for the education and empowerment of young chefs within our multicultural community. It empowers young chefs with valuable learning experiences, exposure to industry professionals, and scholarship opportunities for their culinary future. Mastering healthy cooking boosts teenagers' confidence, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Finalists will have the opportunity to prepare for the culinary showdown, at a master-class culinary Workshop on Saturday, October 21st, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, as they learn new cooking techniques, knife skills, food preparation, sustainability, and how to incorporate healthy ingredients. Keeping their cool under pressure during a live cooking competition will also be part of their training. The main event, the live culinary challenge, will take place on Saturday, October 28th, from 2 pm to 6 pm at FIU Bay Campus. The event promises to be a gastronomic adventure, with an impressive lineup of celebrity chefs, food bloggers, and foodies participating and serving as judges for the competition.
