St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center hosts first annual Harvest Festival

DETROIT - Sept. 28, 2023 - PRLog -- Residents looking for a great family event this fall are invited to join local Detroit non-profit St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center (http://www.svsfcenter.org/) (SVSF) for their first ever Harvest Festival.

The family-friendly party is planned for Saturday, Oct. 14 from 1-4 p.m., at SVSF's main location on Lappin Street in Detroit. Organizers said the Harvest Festival promises an afternoon of fun for all ages, including a Kids Costume Contest with prizes; fun food, treats, and beverages; and Arts and Crafts Activities.

"Moving to our own location on Lappin Street has given us so many opportunities to reach out to the local community. We wanted to provide the children of our neighborhood with an opportunity to get dressed up and safely get their 'treats,' while creating an afternoon of memories," said Diane Renaud, SVSF's Executive Director/CEO. "We're excited for this harvest festival to become a yearly tradition for everyone to enjoy."
