Holman Pastor Emeritus Joins Nancy Pelosi at Peace and Justice Awards Ceremony

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 10, 2023 - PRLog -- Holman is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the Leonard I. Beerman Foundation for Peace and Justice Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. Attendees at the Foundation's annual awards ceremony will have the rare opportunity to learn from Holman Pastor Emeritus Rev. James M. Lawson in conversation with labor activist Dolores Huerta and the Honorable Nancy Pelosi, Speaker Emerita of the House of Representatives.

This year, the Beerman Foundation welcomes four new Fellows for Peace and Justice, including student activist Karely Amaya, who spoke at Rev. Lawson's 95th birthday teach-in, and Representative Justin Jones of Tennessee. The Foundation will honor Speaker Emerita Pelosi with the 2023 Award for Social Justice in Action. The evening culminates in a moderated panel discussion among veteran leaders Huerta, Pelosi and Lawson.
