Shirley Jones of The Jones Girls Releases 45th Anniversary Tribute Album in Memory of Her Sisters

ATLANTA - Jan. 25, 2024 - PRLog -- Shirley Jones of the Jones Girls announces the release of her new album Reflections In Loving Memory, a tribute album honoring her late sisters Brenda and Valorie of the Jones Girls.  This new album features ten tracks including a previously recorded new Jones Girls single, Baby Don't Go. It will be available for download on all streaming platforms on February 16, 2024.

Reflection In Loving Memory's release is in commemoration of the 45th anniversary of The Jones Girls self-titled debut album that included the top ten million selling single You Gonna Make Me Love Somebody Else, Who Can I Run To, and I'm at Your Mercy. This project is also a family affair, with the title track, Reflections, being written and produced by Valorie's son PJ, along with Shirley's son Cam Jones being featured on the single This I Know.

Fans can expect a diverse listening experience with covers of Jones Girls classics, including "I'm At Your Mercy" and a remake of the fan-favorite "Who Can I Run To." The first single from the album, "When You Love Somebody," was released in August, highlighting the beauty of true love. Additionally, soul steppers can enjoy the smooth sounds of "Soul Steppin."

Executive produced by Shirley Jones, the ten tracks from the album are reminiscent of the reason the Jones Girls flawless harmonies continue to be heard across the airwaves and in films today like the recently released movie, The Book of Clarence which features one of the Jones Girls signature songs, Nights Over Egypt.
