Sherrer also served as a gubernatorial appointee to the Jacksonville International Airport Board of Directors, on the Florida Association of Realtors Board of Directors, as Past President of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors and held the position of Commodore at Epping Forest Yacht Club.
