TEF inspires… record grants to all TPS schools totaling $59K!"

TRENTON, Mich. - Feb. 13, 2024 - PRLog -- Trenton Educational Foundation is excited to announce the largest grant distribution since the group's inception in 2008. In all, 46 Teacher/Staff Grants were awarded in 2023-24 totaling $59,167.

In the Fall of 2023, teachers/staff were awarded grants totaling $45K.

13 New Teacher Grants of $250/each were awarded totaling $3,250 in 2023-24. And in January 2024, mini grants were awarded to: Kelly Olsen, THS, Peer to Peer, $632.00. Meghan Potter, THS, Student Success Team SST,$720.00. Andrea Burns & Rhonda Carter, Hedke, Cooking in Preschool, $970.00. Victoria Miles & Bill Miller, Hedke & Anderson, Pickleball Materials, $544.00. Gina Lustig/ ELA  Department, THS, Poster Printer, $994.00. Dana Pilgrim& Alyssa Sassack, Hedke & Anderson, Decodable Texts for Read-to Self, $1,650.00. Cynthia Langlotz, Anderson, Time Timers, $768.00. Lorie Kryk, Anderson, Applied Engineering Enhancements, $994.00. Lauren Dziadosz/A. Skrzynski, THS, Jewelry & Metals Rolling Mill, $815.00. Jill Crooks, Anderson Flexible Seating in the 21st Century, $912.00. Ryan Ferrante, THS, Library Podcast Stations, $950.00.

TEF President Mike McCullough said, "We are proud to provide this exceptional support made possible through our fundraising efforts over the years. Our grant committee led by Laura Trosien did a wonderful job improving the grant process and following through on communications and deadlines to kick the program in high gear. We hope we will be able to continue provide funding to all grants requests received, but it will be based on how our fundraising efforts go this year."
