PRLog -- Carey Home Inspection has been offering air quality testing in the Albany NY region and Berkshire county MA for the past seven years. Air quality has always been a concern of people purchasing new homes and this service has increased year over year. Due to higher than normal wet weather in 2023 many testing and mold remediation companies saw huge increases in the number of calls, as did Don Clendaniel of Carey Home Inspection. In addition to home inspection requests, many long term home owners called and scheduled to have their homes tested according to the company owner. Mold can often be found by a trained and experienced inspector however sometimes the only way to confirm an issue or to determine the extent is to test the air. Carey Home Inspection has begun using a new analysis lab that provides results interpreted by AI, or artificial intelligence. This allows for faster turnaround for the client, and better results, allowing for more of the sample to be read in a more accurate way. Reports come with a graded scale not just raw data and numbers like most reports do. Additionally images of the samples collected from the air test are provided in the report allowing the client to actually see what they are breathing. We expect these reports to provide clearer, easier to understand results for our clients, allowing them to make a more informed decision than prior reports did.
