ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Feb. 16, 2024 - PRLog -- DonnaInk Publications announces the latest TBI Guy release, "Dealin' With Bullies" - in his children's titles, J. R. delves into the day-to-day experiences that brain-insult survivors encounter as they navigate life. Despite a remarkable recovery, with a post-insult IQ of 115, he recognizes that the community often expects him to be more able-bodied. However, the idiosyncrasies of a brain injury still surface, leading to confusion among onlookers. Through his illustrated titles, he aims to provide children and adults with greater insight and comprehension while also educating parents, teachers, and friends.

About the Author:  J. R. Hatcher is a traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor who is sensitive to the realities of disabilities and community awareness. His personal story is interesting, but his focus is on helping to educate the public, regarding the realities of being a TBI survivor and the nuances involved with same. His titles are both children's and adults. The children's titles focus on day-to-day life that brain-insult survivors encounter in approaching life. With a 115 IQ post-insult, J.R. has found the community-at-large often anticipates his being more able-bodied and while his recovery is remarkable and miraculous when paired to expected outcomes . . . the idiosyncrasies of a brain injury still rise to the surface.
