Krishan Myrick's Enlightening Meeting with Dr. Donald and Marcia Cole in Oxford, MS

Both Dr. and Mrs. Cole, who recently retired from the University of Mississippi (UM), have been pivotal figures in promoting diversity and inclusion within the academic community through their active involvement in the OMF National Steering Committee.

Krishan Myrick, a distinguished 4.0 GPA scholar and a member of the Raider basketball team, has exemplified outstanding achievements both academically and in extracurricular activities. A member of the National Honor Society, NAIA nominee, and author of two children's books, Krishan's entrepreneurial spirit shines through BGE Charities and BGE Shoes and Apparel. She is contemplating her higher education prospects, considering esteemed institutions such as the University of Alabama, University of Missouri, University of Kansas, and Ole Miss.

Accompanied by her parents, La'Nardo Myrick Sr. and Kinnette Myrick, along with her siblings, Jeanne and La'Nardo Myrick II, the meeting underscored the family's deep connections and admiration for the values represented by Dr. Cole, Mrs. Cole, and the Ole Miss community.
