Savannah Philharmonic Hosts Third Annual All-Star Ensemble Program with Guest Conductor Timothy VervilleThe All-Star Ensemble program offers a unique opportunity for young musicians to study with and perform alongside professional members of the SavPhil Orchestra. Designed to inspire and elevate musical proficiency, the weekend will focus on both small group instruction and ensemble playing, fostering collaboration and camaraderie among the students. Participants will engage in intensive rehearsal and practice sessions on Friday evening and Saturday morning, honing their musical skills under the guidance of seasoned professionals. The culmination of their hard work will be showcased in a special concert at the Islands High School Auditorium on Saturday at 4 pm. This concert is free and open to the public, providing a platform for the community to enjoy and support the talent and dedication of these young musicians. "We are all delighted to welcome Timothy Verville as our guest conductor for this year's All-Star Ensemble program," shared Keitaro Harada, Music and Artistic Director for the Savannah Philharmonic. "Maestro Verville is an artist I have known for several years as we were neighbors in Phoenix, Arizona and have collaborated on a number of projects. Not only is he a fabulous musician, he is a world class educator, and I am very excited to have him share his magic with the young musical talent here in Savannah." The Savannah Philharmonic extends its gratitude to all participating students, educators, and supporters who make the All-Star Ensemble program possible. Through their dedication and commitment to the arts, we can continue to enrich the lives of Savannah's youth and our cultural landscape as a whole.
