NCEG Honors Women's History Month: Elevating Women's Impact in the Music Industry

 
ATLANTA - April 2, 2024 - PRLog -- The National Collegiate Entertainers Group (NCEG) proudly marked Women's History Month with a series of dynamic initiatives throughout March, highlighting the invaluable contributions of women in the music industry and fostering empowerment among its college chapter members.

Committed to cultivating inclusivity and amplifying diverse narratives, NCEG curated a range of enriching workshops and events designed to empower emerging talents and honor the achievements of women in music.

NCEG members were granted access to exclusive workshops aimed at refining their skills and advancing their careers. From insightful sessions on marketing and branding for creatives to vocal training with the esteemed Amadi Jae, participants gained invaluable knowledge and practical tools to navigate the competitive music landscape.

A captivating Songwriter Session was hosted, featuring the talented Amy Luciani, renowned for her appearances on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Luciani generously shared her expertise and experiences, offering invaluable insights into the art and craft of songwriting, inspiring attendees to explore their creative potential.

Additionally, Women in Music Mixer: "A Taste of Music'', in collaboration with Women in Music Atlanta, showcased the diverse talents and perspectives of women in the industry. The event featured a stellar panel of accomplished women, including Kae Kris (Executive Assistant, Generation Now), Adore Rae (Digital Marketing), Taylor Brooks (Ent & Lifestyle Publicist), DJ Bomb Jahlaam, Jeda Sky (Artist Manager), Amiris Perdue (A&R), and Joydan Dawson (Publicist). Special thanks to our NCEG members Kiara Moody, Ebony Lockwood, and Tosin Thompson for helping curate the event. Through engaging discussions and networking opportunities, attendees gained valuable insights and forged meaningful connections within the music community.
