Acyberschool and Konza Partner to Train One Million Kenyans in Cybersecurity

NAIROBI, Kenya - April 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Acyberschool, a premier provider of cybersecurity education, is excited to announce a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA). This collaboration aims to train one million Kenyans in foundational cybersecurity, equipping them with essential skills for further specialization in cybersecurity and AI.

The training program, which is set to run over three months with a month dedicated to live practice, will be delivered through Acyberschool's innovative virtual platform, ensuring broad accessibility across Kenya. The curriculum is designed to introduce participants to cybersecurity basics, preparing them for entry-level tasks and further studies in the field.

To facilitate this initiative, scholarships will be provided to all learners, funded through a mix of partnerships, collaborations, and grants that Acyberschool and Konza have secured. Enrollment for the program will be open to the public via an online application portal. The initiative will be extensively promoted by both Konza and Acyberschool, leveraging Konza's vast network of stakeholders from various educational and governmental programs.

Upon completion, the program aims to funnel successful learners into specialized training tracks or direct job placements. Acyberschool will utilize its extensive network of educational and industry partners to support learners in their next steps, whether further education, apprenticeships, or other professional pathways.
