Veteran Joe Earley Challenges Opponents To DebateWith 15 days left, West Virginia 2nd Congressional District voters should get to hear the difference
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - April 29, 2024 - PRLog -- Today Veteran and Republican Congressional candidate Joe Earley (R-WV2), once again called for debates with his opponents: Riley Moore, Alex Gaaserud, Chris Walker, and Nate Cain. Earley believes there is still plenty of time to debate and that voters deserve to know the differences between the candidates.
"I believe that voters need to know how, as a Congressman, you are going to revive local jobs, solve the border crisis, help veterans, clean up Congress, and stop Biden inflation. Voters should get an explanation from my opponents why they are not willing to serve on the House Freedom Caucus and the Election Integrity Caucus. Do they believe like me that the ATF should be abolished?" questioned Earley. "To help voters make an informed choice, I am proposing two debates between now and the primary. There are so many serious issues confronting our nation such as border security, parental rights, the economy and inflation, and the national debt. Each issue deserves more than a thirty second sound bite. Our differences should be aired in public forums in an open discussion of ideas." Earley has been calling for debates since the filing deadline. His opponents have not accepted. Earley strongly believes that debating is the best way for voters to be educated on the differences between the candidates. "Biden has now finally agreed to debate President Trump. Are my opponents going to continue to hide in their basements or do they have the courage to discuss the issues unfiltered?" said Earley. "This election should be about ideas not campaign funded commercials. I hope that Riley Moore and others will have the courage to agree to debate. We can set a new tone for politics here in West Virginia," said Earley. "I am hoping my opponents will make themselves available for a total of 2 hours over the next 15 days until the election," said Earley. Veteran Joe Earley for Congress End
