Snowbird Technologies Hosts Congressman Rutherford at Florida Manufacturing Facility

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 31, 2024 - PRLog -- Snowbird Technologies had the distinct honor of hosting Congressman John Rutherford (R-FL 5th District) at its Jacksonville, Florida manufacturing facility on May 29, 2024.
Representative Rutherford visited the original equipment manufacturing facility located in his district to review the numerous achievements and upcoming projects spearheaded by the dedicated team at Snowbird Technologies. This visit provided an opportunity for Snowbird employees to present significant projects across all product lines, including their participation in the forthcoming TRIDENT WARRIOR and RIMPAC exercises, hosted by the Naval Postgraduate School's Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research and Education (CAMRE) and FLEETWERX.

"Last year, when we hosted Representative Rutherford, our Snowbird Additive Mobile Manufacturing Technology platform was newly developed and had not yet left our facility. Today, it is set to participate in afloat readiness exercises with various esteemed organizations, testing its ruggedness, performance, and field usability," said Scott Morse, Chief Executive Officer. "The progress our team has made in just under a year since that initial visit is remarkable. We conveyed to Representative Rutherford that we are only beginning. With his support, we aim to achieve significant success for our employees, our district, and our state."

During the visit, the team also showcased the new Snowbird Atmospheric Water Generator (SAWG-150), capable of producing up to 150 gallons of water per day, and the SMART ECU system, which provides telematics and remote operations for up to 200 environmental control units in the field. Additionally, Snowbird Technologies holds several contracts with the Department of Defense for legacy environmental control units used in naval shelter systems and on landing craft air cushion hovercrafts employed by the United States Navy.
Representative Rutherford expressed his enthusiasm for the cutting-edge technology being developed for defense and industrial applications within his district.
