Collective Development Inc. - Past, Present and In Between

LANSING, Mich. - Aug. 29, 2024 - PRLog -- Michigan based Collective Development Inc. has been creating unique motion picture content for going on three decades. The company has produced feature film in various genres and continues to march forward in the ever-changing marketplace. Fresh off the release of their award winning WW2 Homefront drama 'Silent Night in Algona' they filmed 'Harsens Island Revenge,' a prohibition 1920's action drama. Both films are based on actual historical events something CDI often does. 'Silent Night in Algona' was an original screenplay by DJ Perry pieced together from various perspectives and sources of history showcasing German PW's kept in over 700 camps in the midwest. The latter deals with the actual bootlegging history that unfolded in the 1920's taken from the book of the same name written by Michigan author Karl Manke.

'Silent Night in Algona' is out to rent/buy on many major platforms and has started to broadcast on TV. 'Harsens Island Revenge' will head into theaters early in 2025 after a series of 2024 premiere runs.  In additional to the new content several of their classics are heading back into the streaming platforms after restoration. 'Knight Chills' CDI's first feature was released to Blu Ray in late 2024 and will release to streaming in the coming months with Twin Engines Global/Deskpop Entertainment. Another re-release after restoration was their 2006 smoky mountain western 'Dean Teaster's Ghost Town' released by Ammo Content. More restoration re-releases are being planned for the new year!

Next up filming in November is 'Wild Faith Christmas' the sequel to CDI's immensely popular 1870's movie 'Wild Faith'. They've associated themselves with the East-Coast company Dreamscape Productions who is actively working with CDI to develop the TV series spin off Wild Faith: Hastings.
