Bromley Osteopathic Practice Forges New Community Partnerships

BROMLEY, U.K. - July 26, 2024 - PRLog -- Hicks Health, an osteopathic and sports injury clinic in Bromley, UK, has created partnerships with two local sports organisations to benefit the local active community.

The clinic has announced new partnerships in July with Beckenham Sports Club and The Hewley Griffith Table Tennis Academy.

As part of the partnership agreements, members of the clubs will receive discounted treatments for sports injuries or other musculoskeletal complaints. They will benefit from helpful advice from the clinic which will be published on the sports clubs' blogs, helping their members to remain injury free.

Beckenham Sports Club is one of the largest in the area and has a thriving sporting community. They offer a range of sports including cricket, tennis, hockey, running, squash, football and cycling, with opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to take part. They also have a vibrant social scene with club nights and activities.

The Hewley Griffith Table Tennis Academy is run by ex-national champion Hewley Griffith, and community is highly important to what they do. As Hewley explains:

"Table tennis is one of the most accessible and inclusive sports available. It can be played by elderly people and people with disabilities, and to get started in the sport requires no great strength, athleticism or mobility."

Hewley and his team take table tennis into care homes, helping elderly people to maintain agility and flexibility, and also coach people with disabilities from complete beginner to paralympic level. They also run various school programmes across the borough.
