WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Sept. 1, 2024 - PRLog -- The Dancing Caravan (https://static.wixstatic.com/media/612ec1_c593c6ebff3446abb20ee6c5f6c30b0b~mv2.jpg) is making a stop (https://static.wixstatic.com/media/612ec1_9d479ce37299491a929ee8950d7c14a5~mv2.jpg) in downtown White Plains: Enjoy a Sunday afternoon of new works and audience favorites by Carole Alexis and Ballet des Amériques in the beautiful main floor Gallery space (https://static.wixstatic.com/media/612ec1_c653c1e611074060a771faa7d92be311~mv2.jpg) of the historic ArtsWestchester building (https://westchestermagazine.com/things-to-do/art-house/) - the former People's National Bank & Trust building.

Ballet des Amériques is a grantee of ArtsWestchester with funding made possible by Westchester County government with the support of County Executive George Latimer.

The programs of Ballet des Amériques / Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre are also made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.

ABOUT CAROLE ALEXIS | CHOREOGRAPHER
Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres Carole Alexis was honored with the 2023 Artist Award by ArtsWestchester. A student of Maurice Béjart, Alexis' choreographic work is rooted in classical ballet training and tradition while drawing upon influences as disparate as children's games, island rituals, natural phenomena, and modern urban life.
