Chong also acknowledges the support of Vancouver Is Awesome article "Artist Captures BC's Clear Cutting, Climate Change in Coquitlam Show", TriCityNews' Janis Cleugh, Kim Correia, and the Place des Arts staff for their commitment to raising awareness about climate action.

Excitement is building as Chong prepares to participate in Nuit Blanche Kelowna 2024, themed "Through the Stitches." The Eroded Origins project, featuring The Flow, The Cut, and The Blessing, will be showcased as a stunning 40-foot projection on the exterior of the Kelowna Community Theatre.

As advocates of environmental and ecological consciousness, the artists believe in the necessity of unity and collaboration to combat the escalating climate crisis.

"We (humanity) are the threads of environmental and ecological consciousness. Inhabitants must come together, collaborate, and unite to prevent the escalation of Gaia's climate crisis," Chong affirms. "As a Climate Artist, my goal is to engage the community in meaningful discussions about climate action and forest stewardship."

Nuit Blanche is a multidisciplinary art event that transforms Kelowna into a vibrant canvas, featuring artistic installations, live performances, workshops, music, and exhibitions. Organized by the Centre Culturel Francophone de l'Okanagan (CCFO) since 2013, it serves as a creative laboratory, showcasing art in diverse and unexpected venues throughout the city.

Chong invites everyone to join the Eroded Origins Project Discussion on October 5, 2024. Attendees will have the opportunity to share insights, explore illuminated installations, and enjoy a Silent Disco on the streets of Kelowna until 1:00 AM.
