Chong says "My art practice has become a transformational reflection through the light of creation, life, decay, death and rebirth." A fourth-generation Chinese-Canadian, Garrett Andrew Chong was born in Armstrong, BC, in the early 60's and graduated with honours from ECUAD (Emily Carr University & Design) in the mid 80's. His pieces capture the auras, energies and "unseen light" within spaces, forms and living beings.
