RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 6, 2024 - PRLog -- On Oct. 28, Raleigh-based hip-hop artist Shame Gang will release visuals for 'Million and One,' featuring DEVN and Erick Lottary, off his latest album Better Late Than Never.

The video was shot by Summit Films, who has previously worked with Benny the Butcher and J. Cole.

Directed by Giancarlo Bauzulli, the video captures the song's overarching idea that there are countless ways to break into and impact the music industry. With collaboration a large theme of the song, an effort was made to showcase everyone involved in the production.

Set in a western, the visual depicts Shame Gang, DEVN and Erick Lottary transformed into a cowboy gang influencing and pushing their music a million and one ways.

"At its core, the visual is about artists hustling together to get their music out by any means necessary—with a dose of time travel and some smoking boots, because why not, right?" said Bauzulli.

"It was a dope process to collaborate with so many talented artists," Shame Gang said. "We all interpret ideas differently, and brainstorming with so many different artists allowed us to incorporate varied perspectives. Million and One reminds artists that we have a million ways to be successful in the industry. It's a reminder that we aren't going to let people stop us, we're going to stake a claim, and we're here to stay."

Shame recently signed with Roc Nation's distribution company that helps artists distribute their music worldwide while allowing them to retain full ownership of their masters.

Shame has performed and headlined several North Carolina festivals and has opened for Dave East, Wu Tang Clan, DaBaby, Twista, Yo Gotti, Ghost Face Killah, Raekwon, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Benny The Butcher, KRS-One and others. The Maryland native's verses have been featured on Revolt, SiriusXM Shade 45, NPR, Indy Week, and The Hype Magazine.

Better Late Than Never is Shame Gang's third album, and was released in 2023. The album includes features from Lute, Smoke DZA, Rapper Big Pooh, Kas Da God, Ian Kelly and others. Shame Gang's second album, No Safe Haven, was released in 2021 and includes features from Swift, Carlitta Durand and others. His 2018 breakout album, Genesis 98', earned him an opening performance spot for Wu Tang's reunion tour.
