Help Remington College 'Bridge the Gap' for students this Giving Tuesday

DALLAS - Dec. 3, 2024 - PRLog -- This Giving Tuesday, Remington College is calling on the community's support to help make a difference for students by supporting the Bridging the Gap Scholarship Fund.

With the goal of raising $25,000 for Giving Tuesday, the initiative is aimed at providing much-needed financial support to students working to complete their education and enter the workforce.

Remington College, a nonprofit college, offers career-relevant programs and helps prepare students to enter the workforce in roles that benefit both local employers and the community. With a range of campus-based and online programs, the mission is to provide education that strengthens the communities we serve and meet the needs of today's in-demand careers.

In 2022, the college reduced tuition on several programs and started our first institutional advancement campaign. That grass-roots campaign raised funds for Remington College's Bridging the Gap scholarship which goes directly to eligible students to reduce or eliminate out-of-pocket expenses for tuition and fees. The college awarded over $9,000 in scholarships in 2023 and over $24,000 in scholarships in 2024.
