Creating sustainable awards for Land.com

SQUAMISH, British Columbia - Dec. 3, 2024 - PRLog -- Mountains, trees, rivers and wide open spaces. The great outdoors, real estate and large acreage properties. As a business who specializes in discovering, buying, and selling rural real estate, the Land.com brand is reflective of the natural world.

When Land.com approached us to craft custom sustainable awards symbolic of the brand - with subtle nods to both real estate and the outdoors, we were set the challenge of thinking how to scale down and simplify something so vast, into an award suitable to fit in the deserving hands of the winners.

Nature is often the provider of inspiration for artists and designers, helping us to quickly develop and agree on a final concept for the awards that was allusive of the brand through a series of references to the world around us.

Crafted from solid oak hardwood and aluminum, the awards are made from sustainable and recyclable materials. Using layers, we assembled the wood into a trio of pointed edges to present a mountain range. Rising up and over the wood, we again created a symbolic shape - this time utilizing the aluminum to create a roof aesthetic to replicate buildings and houses.

UV flatbed prints enabled us to ensure the awards featured the Land.com primary green, brand logo and personalized text in the brand's primary font. With further prints to the rear side of the oak, we applied topo lines to include a clean and subtle additional detail. The lines are a background pattern frequently used by Land.com and another acknowledgment of outdoor open spaces.

Designed to recognize Top Producers, the smooth oak wood combined with the splendor of the gold aluminum completes a luxury modern aesthetic, helping to show genuine gratitude and appreciation for the winners. Working from our design studio, our skilled team crafted 126 of these unique and sustainable awards.
