Compact innovation: WEROCK presents the robust industrial tablet Rocktab U210 G2

KARLSRUHE, Germany - Dec. 10, 2024 - PRLog -- WEROCK Technologies GmbH, an innovative manufacturer of robust hardware, presents the Rocktab U210 G2, the new generation of the robust Rocktab U210 tablet. With a depth of only 15mm and a weight of just 996g, it is particularly compact. The new, powerful processor significantly improves both performance and energy efficiency, making the ultra-robust Windows tablet the ideal choice for professional applications.

Thanks to the built-in Intel® Quad-Core N100 processor, the Rocktab U210 G2 not only has outstanding energy efficiency compared to its predecessor, but also a significant performance improvement of over 100%. In addition, the memory, which is now twice as large as that of the previous generation at 16 GB, enables even smoother working, even with complex processes. An integrated NVMe SSD, available with up to 2 TB, offers sufficient storage space for apps, images and documentation.

The tablet is certified according to MIL-STD-810G, even exceeding the usual military standard. Instead of the usual 1.2 m drop height, the Rocktab U210 G2 can withstand a drop height of 1.5 m under more difficult conditions. The Rocktab U210 G2 is water and dustproof according to the IP65 standard. With a temperature range of -20° to +60° Celsius, the Rocktab U210 G2 is ready for use in demanding environments.

The 10.1-inch outdoor display with a brightness of up to 800 cd/m² offers good readability even in direct sunlight. It can be operated even when wearing gloves. It is gesture-compatible, highly precise and, thanks to the digitiser, suitable for capturing signatures. With a battery capacity of 33 Wh, the tablet can be used for up to 7 hours. The hot-swap functionality enables interruption-free working, as the battery can be changed during operation.

The Rocktab U210 G2 offers maximum connectivity with an RJ45 network connection, mini HDMI, full-size USB 3.2 Type A and a USB-C connection with DisplayPort, which allows you to connect up to two external monitors. In addition, the connection supports Power Delivery. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are available for wireless connections. The optional 4G LTE high-speed internet connection with up to 300 Mbps. It offers a network connection, USB ports, monitor output and also serial ports. Optionally, the tablet can be equipped with a high-end 1D/2D barcode scanner.
