SongDoor 2024 Winners Announced

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Jan. 22, 2025 - PRLog -- The Grand Award winners of the SongDoor 2024 Int'l. Songwriting Competition are: Maddi Overy, Matt Bronleewe and Grace Bronleewe for their exceptional pop song, "What Are We."

About the winners

Maddi Overy - also known as daughter - is a singer, songwriter, actress and dancer from Virginia. She has been spending time in Nashville and London, where she is finishing her Musical Theater degree. Mads has spent the last year writing original music, working with Corey Pavlosky (Pipe Dream Studios) and other producers in Nashville. daughter also performs live. Matt Bronleewe is a Grammy®-nominated songwriter, producer and author, and will be a familiar name to fans of Jars of Clay. The band sold more than 2M copies of their debut album. He went on to write/produce for other artists, his name appearing on 600+ albums, with multiple #1s, gold- and platinum records and billions of streams. Grace Bronleewe, Matt's daughter is an accomplished singer/songwriter in her own right. Grace (aka GREYLEE) has already compiled an impressive catalog, including the Unsecret/Sam Tinnesz collaboration, "I'm Coming For It," (3.5M Spotify streams) and placements on "Love Is Blind" and "Love Island."
