Dr. Yana Serobyan, a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist Joins Dr. Iospa Psych

NEW YORK - Jan. 31, 2025 - PRLog -- Dr. Yana Serobyan, a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience, is joining Dr. Iospa Psychiatry Consulting Group. Her addition to the team strengthens the practice's commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered mental health care.

Dr. Serobyan has built a reputation for her thoughtful, integrative approach to psychiatry. She takes the time to understand each patient's unique experiences, combining psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle adjustments to support long-term well-being. She believes in early intervention and preventive care, helping patients address challenges before they become overwhelming.

Her medical journey began at the Medical Institute of Armenia, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD). She then continued her training in the United States, earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at NYIT. With allopathic and osteopathic medicine expertise, she takes a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing the connection between mind and body.

Dr. Serobyan completed her psychiatry residency at North Shore/LIJ Hillside Hospital (now Northwell Health), where she served as Chief Resident. She then pursued a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Schneider Children's Hospital (now Cohen's Children's Medical Center) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Over the years, she has worked in various clinical settings, including NYU Grossman School of Medicine, Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, Brooklyn Center for Families in Crisis, and Glengariff Health Care Center.

Fluent in English, Russian, and Armenian, Dr. Serobyan is passionate about providing culturally sensitive care and ensuring that language and background are never barriers to mental health support.
