The organization is eager to collaborate with educators, community leaders, businesses, and individuals to bring about meaningful change. Key February events include:
AGLMI's services include mentorship programs, wellness initiatives, legal advocacy, and emergency assistance, all aimed at fostering self-esteem, mental wellness, and empowerment. "We believe every woman has the strength to heal and rebuild," said Ashley Jordan. "With the right support, survivors can overcome domestic violence and thrive." Founded in 2013 as A Girl Like Me Inc., the organization rebranded in 2024 to reflect its expanded mission under Jordan's leadership. A survivor herself, Jordan is committed to addressing survivors' immediate needs while tackling broader challenges like homelessness and gun violence. Looking ahead, AGLMI has planned several transformative events for 2025:
