Follow on Google News | SAAFE Meetup Group Surges to Over 1,300 Members After Rapid Growth in Just Two WeeksFounded by Dr. Kristy K. Taylor, Certified Career & Executive Coach and Founder of WORxK Solutions, LLC, SAAFE is a growing social and professional network that fosters collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing among Black women in business. Through monthly SAAFE Happy Hour events, networking opportunities, and educational workshops, the group provides a safe and empowering space for Black women to connect, grow, and thrive. Why the Growth? The recent expansion of SAAFE can be attributed to increased engagement in the wake of major networking events in Washington, D.C., and the success of recent SAAFE Happy Hour discussions. With record-breaking attendance at its February event, SAAFE continues to attract Black women professionals and entrepreneurs looking for meaningful connections, business growth, and professional development opportunities. A Thriving Community for Black Women in Business SAAFE is more than just a networking group—it's a movement dedicated to elevating Black women in business and leadership. As the community continues to expand, new opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and education will be introduced to further support and uplift its members. "This growth is a testament to the power of connection, sisterhood, and the need for intentional spaces where Black women entrepreneurs and professionals can thrive," said Dr. Taylor. What's Next for SAAFE? With over 1,300 members and counting, Dr. Kristy Taylor, Founder of SAAFE is planning more engaging events, workshops, and networking opportunities in the coming months. The next SAAFE Happy Hour Event will continue the mission of bringing valuable discussions and resources to the community. Additionally, SAAFE is expanding its support for Black women entrepreneurs with the launch of the SAAFE Business Directory—an initiative in partnership with Kami Redd of Dear Black Women Magazine and Tysheema Wilkins of Empowered Path Coaching. This directory is designed to highlight and uplift Black women-owned businesses, serving as a go-to resource for customers, collaborators, and community members looking to support and connect with Black entrepreneurs across various industries.
