At Matternet, he led vehicle engineering and technology development, contributing to Matternet's partnership with UPS to launch the first revenue-generating drone delivery service in the U.S. at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. This initiative set the foundation for scalable drone logistics solutions.

Currently, as Principal Engineer at SpaceX, Sharma is at the forefront of developing next-generation fully reusable rocket systems, helping drive the company's ambitious goal of making space travel more accessible and cost-effective.
