Nokomis Awarded Space Force Contract to Develop Satellite Cyber Intrusion Protection System

PITTSBURGH - Feb. 27, 2025 - PRLog -- Nokomis has been awarded a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Direct to Phase II (D2P2) contract to develop advanced technology that ensures the cyber resilience of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). Cyberattacks on military satellites have grown significantly, increasing requirements for state-of-the-art cyber security solutions. Technology that mitigates cyberattacks on orbital assets is a critical need.

Nokomis will build on the successes of prior Cyber Intrusion Protection System (CIPS) activities to create an enhanced system custom designed for the space environment that provides detection of cyberattacks on critical satellite systems.
