Miss Teen Kentucky World & Miss Kentucky US Intl. Pageants Welcome One Life To Live's Farah Fath

Dec. 28, 2008 - PRLog -- As the Miss Teen Kentucky World Pageant continues to add local titleholders to the list of young ladies competing March 28th 2009, judges are also being added.  www.missteenkentucky-world.us  and www.misskentucky.net bring Kentucky native and current cast member of One Life To Live, Farah Fath, back to Kentucky for judging one of the biggest Kentucky events of the year, Miss Teen Kentucky-World.

Native to Lexington, Kentucky, Fath has always loved and been in the spotlight.  Fath was actually crowned Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen in 1995.  After having been in modeling and pageant competitions from the age of five, Fath and her mother, Lisa, took her talent to a search in Los Angeles California, where she was successful, immediately, in landing a role on the hit daytime drama, Days Of Our Lives.   After  leaving Days Of Our Lives, and taking a short time to return to Kentucky, Farah was soon cast as Gigi Morasco on "One Life to Live", which films in New York.

Fath will be on the judges panel for judging Miss Kentucky US International, Miss Teen Kentucky-World and Miss Preteen Kentucky-World, March 28th 2009 in Somerset Kentucky at the grand theater in the Center For Rural Development where many theatrical events and pageants have taken place, including Miss Kentucky USA.

Executive Director, Lisa Clark, continues her search and interview process to locate new members of  the Miss Teen Kentucky World and Miss Kentucky US International judges panel.  "I would like to recruit a minimum of six judges", says Clark, "It keeps the scoring in the hands of the majority instead of allowing one single judge to sway the winning score too far in any particular direction, based on personal preference alone.  The more judges on a panel, the more likely we are to have accurate final scoring".   The competition categories for Miss Teen Kentucky World and Miss Kentucky US International will be equal in all areas, interview, swimsuit and evening gown.  Preteen contestants will not participate in swimsuit, instead they will model casual wear.  "My goal is to create a magical, exciting and amazing experience for all young ladies involved." says Clark, "I don't expect any young woman to walk away from this event saying 'this was just another pageant'.  Personally, I think once the actual event takes place, there will be a large number of early applicants for the 2010 pageant."
