Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked?
The Cold, Hard Facts of ‘Life’ after Death from an Undertaker’s Perspective

Bloomington, IN (March 3, 2009) – Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked? by Robert Webster

Let’s face it, the grim reaper doesn’t punch a time clock. It’s a 24/7 kind of job. So when death comes knocking on your door, will you be ready—or even presentable?

Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked? chronicles a mortician’s thirty-two year life journey through the deathly serious and often fascinating funeral industry. Author Robert Webster presents a solemn and respectful, yet humorous behind-the-scenes look at both the dead and the living (survivors) through the eyes and ears of a seasoned practitioner of mortuary science.

“The one common denominator among living things is that we all die—as does everyone we love,” Webster writes. “Nothing can spare us; nothing can prepare us.”

But prepared you will be upon reading Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked? (published by iUniverse). Both deadly serious and deathly funny, this practical handbook about planning for the inevitable contains thirteen (Superstitious? There is an ‘Afterword’.) information-packed chapters spiced up with real life scenario-curiosities about how we as a human beings deal with the realities of death—physically and psychologically. From bizarre funeral last requests (e.g. Make sure you pack my husband’s entire collection of Playboy magazines in the casket.) to graphic descriptions of those nasty, decaying corpses we humans leave behind, Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked? causes one to view mortality and its aftermath under a different light.

About the Author
Robert Webster’s initiation into the funeral home business took place during his teenage years. This future career path took the form of mowing grass, washing cars, and other menial duties necessary to the daily operation of his local funeral home. Webster has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Ohio since 1977. In 2001, he opened the Webster Funeral Home in Fairfield, Ohio. He is a graduate the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Does This Mean You’ll See Me Naked? is Webster’s first book. But stay tuned, or in this case, alive!  His second ‘self-help’ book on death’s aftermath and the mortuary profession is being prepped for publishing.
