British-American Business Council Starts a New Year of Networking

Jan. 20, 2010 - PRLog -- The British-American Business Council Houston kicks off its 2010 Networking on Tap series on January 27, 2010.  Members and friends of the BABC will meet at the typically British Sherlock's Baker Street Pub at 10001 Westheimer  from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Registration is requested at http://babchouston.org/en/cev/210

BABC Networking on Tap events are the perfect opportunity to "make yourself known" in the international business community in Houston in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.  No hard sales, just building relationships.  Special happy hour prices are available at the cash bar along with a complimentary happy hour buffet .  BABC members enjoy free admission while non-members pay a mere $5 cash at the door for a great evening of networking.

This month's event falls on the same night as President Obama's State of the Union Address.  Sherlock's will air the address at 8 pm.  Stay after and discuss the speech with your new friends.  Brits are well known for the soap boxes!
