By: Chapman Chrysler Jeep Nevada In the next few years, you’ll be seeing more Italian designed car on our roads as Fiat and Alfa Romeo return to the US Marketplace. Fiat and Alfa Romeo has not sold cars in the US in about 20 years. This was brought on as Chrysler and Fiat joined forces at nearly the worst car sales times there has ever been. Fiat and Chrysler chief executive Sergio Marchionne says that the Italian vehicles will be sold under the familiar American brands of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. This will leave the Chrysler Group a fighting chance in turning around their sales slump with a good selection of small, fuel efficient cars that the manufacturer currently lacks. This is a welcomed sign of future sales as fuel prices rise, and many hybrids from other manufacturers are becoming ever more popular. Chapman Las Vegas Chrysler Jeep believes that the sale of the smaller vehicles in the US will go sales along with customer satisfaction and renew faith in the brand. Chrysler Group executives have already announced that the small Fiat 500 will be coming stateside later this year, to be sold at select dealers in major metropolitan areas, such as Chapman Las Vegas Chrysler Jeep in Henderson, Nevada. It will be available in four configurations: The 500 and a small crossover vehicle will be the cars to carry the Fiat name in the US, a Fiat spokesperson said. The Dodge vehicle line will gain 3 of the European vehicles under its brand in 2012. These vehicles will be comprised of a small car, a new compact sedan, and a 7-seat crossover SUV. Fiat’s luxury Alfa Romeo brand will return to the US in 2012 with the Giulia sedan and wagon. 2013 will bring us the Alfa Romeo MiTo small car, followed in 2014 by the compact Giulietta in 2014. Fiat also owns Ferrari and Maserati, which are already sold in the US. Maserati prices will drop when the new Dodge models hit the states with a high-end mid-sized car that will cost about $75,000. Currently, the least expensive Maserati is $120,000. While this means that more cars will be imported into the US Chrysler Dealerships, including Chapman Las Vegas Chrysler Jeep, it should also means that more cars are be exported. In the next five years Fiat expects to be building 13 of its models in North America.
