Thinkscape Group partners with Sime Darby Property on sustainable home initiative

Aug. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- KUALA LUMPUR –  Thinkscape Group was recently appointed as a brand communication partner of Sime Darby Property’s Idea House, a carbon-neutral prototype dwelling located in Denai Alam, Malaysia.

The Idea House, which won the Best Green Development (Future) Award at Cityscape 2010, is designed by architectural firm Broadway Malyan as an all-round sustainable concept home. It is set to be a benchmark as Southeast Asia's first carbon-neutral residence.  

"Thinkscape Group is pleased to lend its strategic creativity to The Idea House initiative, thus giving the leverage for Sime Darby to effectively communicate this blueprint of the future to the world," said John Jong, group MD and founder of Thinkscape Group.

Named by Frost & Sullivan as "Green Builder of the Year 2010", Sime Darby Property is the country's largest property developer and part of the century-old conglomerate Sime Darby Group, which is one of the largest companies in terms of market capitalisation on Bursa Malaysia.

This is not the first time Thinkscape Group is involved in a sustainable initiative. Earlier this year, it partnered with Qatar Green Building Council (QGBC) on its Web communication.
