Thinkscape Group Gives Awe-Inspiring talk on what makes a Good Branding

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Dec. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- An eye-opening talk on branding was organized by Thinkscape Group on the 12^th December 2013 at Job Hunt, Petaling Jaya. The event entitled “60 Minutes to Make a Good Brand Epic” was exclusively organized for decision makers who are in the retail industry and also members of the Malaysian Retailers Chains Association (MRCA). The reception of the event was filled with good vibes and fruitful prospects. Speakers of the event were managing director of Thinkscape Group, John Jong and creative director, Gabriel Walter.

The talk had touched on the vital understanding on how ‘good’ branding should be. John Jong gave an opening talk with fundamentals of why an organization should exist in the first place and he elaborated his topic into different sections consisting the purpose of good design and the cause of change within the global economy. John Jong asserts during the talk that the very foundation of good branding is when you know “why your brand exists in this world”.  While Gabriel Walter shared his insights on the realities of how retail industries today are changing fast with the rising of digitalization and consumer demands. Nearing the end of the talk a questionnaire was conducted and participants were also treated to a ‘Brand Scan’ exercise which was intended to let the audience participate and also for them to understand the process of measuring a brand’s performance.
