   * Ensure you brush your pets teeth every day, about an hour after meals. Start at an early age, so that your pet gets used to it with age. Use pet toothpaste and your finger for cats and a soft toothbrush for dogs.
   * Ensure your pet drinks clean fresh water. This would require you change their water frequently, or you could have a water fountain made, and this would go a long way in bad breath cures for your pets.
   * Though meat based foods are the best for our feline friends, you could alter your pets diet to include dry foods, kibble, greenery and pet grass, which will clean their teeth and freshen their breath as they eat.
   * Dogs in particular could eat anything like dung or trash. Ensure that the environment is free from this. Also, toys the pets play with should cleaned regularly.
   * Finally, for more permanent bad breath cures , you could purchase some dental care products like Breath Sprays and Drops, as these treat  mouth infections and gingivitis, which are the main causes of bad breath in the first place.
