Most married people will say they can deal with their partner's traits and habits. However, chronic bad breath, if not attended to quickly, is fast becoming the new relationship killer. Research shows that chronic bad breath (halitosis) has lead to the end of several relationships, both professional and personal, and in one rather unfortunate situation has lead to a husband leaving his wife because of her chronic bad breath.

After being examined, it was discovered that she was right and actually had halitosis, and she was quickly treated.
