Follow on Google News | New Version of "Rizen" Features Voices of April Sims and Tantra-zawadiFrench-born artist Cendrine Marrouat is set to release an exciting new version of her debut album that will include two additional tracks and a more appealing packaging.
By: WAGTi Radio "Rizen" was originally released in 2009. It contained 16 spoken word pieces written and recorded by Marrouat using music from three talented composers: Kevin MacLeod, Loren DiGiorgi and Bill Cushman. At the beginning of this year, Marrouat decided to add two extra tracks featuring the voices of April Sims and Tantra-zawadi (with music from Tshombe Harris) and to redesign part of the cover. "I equate 'Rizen' with life. As a result, the album is constantly evolving," says Marrouat. "I wanted to add other voices to the concept. April and Tantra are among my favorite artists. Not only do they have beautiful voices, but they also have wonderful spirits. Hearing their renditions of my poetry is really a blessing. And I am confident that listeners will feel even more uplifted than before." The new version of "Rizen" will be officially released on November 29, 2010. Until that date, people are invited to pre-order their autographed copies of the album through Marrouat's Website.
