SOS calls for new vehicles from Recovery World

Feb. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Services on Site Ltd (SOS) has just purchased an RW 35 single deck flatbed with a 2nd car lift from Recovery World. The new vehicle which is built on a Mitsubishi 7.5 tonne chassis is part of SOS’s ongoing programme of replacing their older vehicles to ensure they comply with changing Eurozone legislation, and to cope with growing demands on their fleet.

Paul Anstee, managing director of SOS commented, “We’ve bought several of our vehicles from Recovery World and they have always been reliable and very fair, so I gave Mac a call. As luck would have it he had the right vehicle in stock for immediate delivery, so the deal was done on the spot.  Mac even took the old truck in part exchange which was a bonus as we didn’t have the hassle of trying to selling it.”

Mac Engledew commented, “We normally carry a large stock of vehicles, but because of the very bad weather in December, our stocks were unusually low. Fortunately we had a couple of new demo models in stock, and as Paul wanted a vehicle immediately, we were able to do a deal immediately, and he was a happy bunny.”

Added Paul, “One of the problems facing all recovery operators are the continuously changing regulations. We had Euro 4 and 5, and Euro 6 isn’t far away. Replacing our older vehicles with new ones that can carry two vehicles is a more cost effective way of coping with the increased business, and also ensures we can meet the changes in legislation.”
