ENTRAIN Fans Are Getting “Entrained” As Band Kicks Off 60-Day Campaign To Create Their New CD

March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- PledgeMusic.com lets ENTRAIN fans be the record label.  Fans make a pledge which directly supports the recording, mixing, mastering, manufacturing and promotion of the new CD.  In return, fans receive thank you gifts such as signed posters, invites to spend time with the band, opportunities to play percussion on stage with the band, drumming lessons or a full-blown house concert.        

Tom Major (ENTRAIN co-founder and drummer) comments, “The way music is made and shared has completely changed in the past 18 years since we started ENTRAIN. PledgeMusic is how we need and want to do it now – by bringing our Entrain family into this process and making the music with, and for, our fans.”  
                                                                                                                         
Pledgers also receive access to exclusive videos, mp3’s, photos, and blogs as well as the opportunity to offer input and ideas for the new CD as the PledgeMusic campaign progresses.  Once completed, fans who have pledged are the first to receive a digital download of the new release.

If the band’s monetary goal is not met, all pledge money is returned to the pledgers.  If the campaign is a success, a portion of the funds raised are donated to a charity of the band’s choice.  In this case, ENTRAIN is supporting Kevin Youkillis’ Hits for Kids Foundation.  

A New CD for an Ever-Growing Fan Base:

This 8th effort will be co-produced by Brian Alex and Tom Major.  The tentative release date is June 20th.  In 1999 Major and Alex teamed up to produce the classic, "All One" as well as "Can U Get It" in 1995 and "Rise Up Live Volume 1" in 2002.

The unique music and message of ENTRAIN continues to speak to a fan base of more 20,000 listeners and to engage new and younger audiences all over the country to whom ENTRAIN is a brand new band.  The upcoming CD is aimed at bringing all ENTRAIN fans -- as well as those who have yet to discover ENTRAIN -- together.
