SEM Link participates in Yuri’s Night San Francisco Bay Area 2011 at NASA Ames Research Center

April 12, 2011 - PRLog -- On Friday, April 8, 2011 from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc (SEM Link) was one of the over 50 exhibitors for the Yuri Night Bay Area 2011. This event engaged over 8,000 K-12 students, educators and parents in a day  full of activities to explore science and space discovery. Yuri’s Night is a global celebration that celebrates the anniversary of human spaceflight. Yuri Garagin was the first human to journey into outer space. On April 12, 1961 his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of earth.  It is a worldwide celebration that advances advocacy and development of space exploration and scientific discovery. “It was such an honor for SEM Link to be a part of a global event to expose kids to STEM” says Executive Director and Founder Ms. Tokiwa T.
