Entry Deadline for the BABC International Business Awards is Officially Extended to August 1.

The British-American Business Council Houston has officially extended the July 15 application deadline for its 2011 International Business Awards. The extended date is Monday, August 1, 2011

July 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Houston, TX - Due to the overwhelming number of requests for deadline extensions received for the 2011 BABC International Business Awards,  the organizers have officially extended the entry deadline to Monday, August 1.

The British-American Business Council Houston (BABC), in partnership with United Airlines,  developed the awards programme to recognize companies excelling  in UK/Texas trade and investment.   Awards are given in three categories; Mid-sized to Small Business, Large Corporate and the Consul General's Award for Corporate Social responsibility.   Awards are open to Texas and UK based companies of all sizes and all sectors who are doing business in both countries.

Award winners will be announced at a luncheon on October 5 at the Westin Memorial City.
