National Mill Dog Rescue - Ruff! Life Open House and Petco Donation Unveiling!

Aug. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Come and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family.  Visit their kennel facility, meet the dogs, enjoy BBQ, beer garden and activities for the kids, including a Jolly Jump, face painting and arts & crafts. Event is FREE to the public.

Earlier this year, NMDR was awarded a truly remarkable gift from the Petco Foundation.  As a high point of the day, come and share the unveiling of the 2011 Extraordinary Gift award.  

"The competition was intense" said Paul Jolly, Executive Director, Petco Foundation.  "However, we were very impressed with the National Mill Dog Rescue's request as well as their accomplishments."  "We share the same philosophy;  Think adoption first!" concludes Mr. Jolly.

NMDR Director Theresa Strader adds with obvious enthusiasm, "Words cannot express our joy and gratitude for this incredibly generous gift from the PETCO Foundation. Being awarded this gift will immediately allow us to save more dogs and do it more efficiently and comfortably for them. This is a very exciting time for our organization!"
