Ware Malcomb Completes Renovation for GP Bikes in Ontario, Canada

Feb. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Whitby, Ontario, Canada – Leading design firm, Ware Malcomb is proud to announce that the renovation of GP Bikes’ power sport retail dealership has been completed. Ware Malcomb was the architect for the project, located at 1100 Champlain Court, Whitby, Ontario, Canada. GP Bikes is one of the largest state-of-the-art motorcycle dealerships in North America.

Ware Malcomb provided architectural and interior design services for the conversion of an existing two-story 24,000 SF squash court facility into a modern motorcycle dealership with showroom and apparel retail space. The motorcycle showroom includes well-known European brands such as Ducati, Triumph, Vespa, Piaggio, KTM Street and MX, as well as popular Japanese and American brand bikes. In addition to the show room, the GP Bikes dealership offers a complete line of men’s and women’s riding apparel and accessories, including repair garage.

The showroom boasts a contemporary look with a transparent glass display that showcases several bikes and is visible from the exterior. The interior makes use of the existing squash courts to help house each distinctive brand. The exterior is retrofitted with aluminum siding to help create a modern and dynamic look.

The newly designed space will allow GP Bikes to expand its already extensive brand ranges to include Teknic, Speed & Strength, Klim, Kini and Dainese apparel.
