Feb. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- With the news last week that economic growth is finally expected this year plus a 2% figure predicted for 2013, Families Worldwide, a UK family adventure holiday company, has revealed an extremely welcome boost in early bookings for 2012 – with bookings up by over 40% for the first three weeks of January on the same period last year.

Comments Mark Wright, Managing Director of Families Worldwide: “Trading in the holiday sector has been tough for everyone over the last few years but I believe we may finally have turned the corner with our latest set of figures.

“Visits to our website are up 36% with bookings to certain destinations, particularly in Asia where the pound still goes a long way, up massively.  For example India is up 80% and Sri Lanka up 75%.

“Other countries that look like they will be a big hit for 2012 are Morocco (up 46%), Croatia (up 45%) and Costa Rica (up 35%). With the feel-good factor of the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics in the summer, I think 2012 will be the best year for both domestic and overseas tourism that we have seen since 2009.”

Families Worldwide offers over 30 trips to 27 countries around the world with the option of tailor-made trips to many of the destinations for those who prefer to travel independently or with friends.
