Construction Begins on Corporate Headquarters Renovation for Stamps.com Inc.

Feb. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- El Segundo, California – Construction has begun for the renovation of Stamps.com Inc.’s new corporate headquarters. Stamps.com Inc. recently purchased 1970 and 1990 East Grand Avenue in El Segundo, California in a transaction represented by Kevin Apor of Peninsula Sotheby’s International Realty.  

The property, known as Grand Avenue Plaza, consists of two (2) adjacent three-story buildings totaling 82,000 square feet. Ware Malcomb is providing architectural and interior design services for the renovation and 17,000 square foot addition, which will connect the buildings.  The renovated space will include a two-story lobby, conference rooms, office space, and employee amenities including a cafeteria, lounge, and rooftop patio.  The design solution will create a vibrant, modern headquarters facility. The interior will utilize exposed structure and concrete slab, promoting employee collaboration through an open office environment.  

Construction began in January 2012, with completion projected for July 2012. KPRS Construction Services, Inc. of Brea, California is the General Contractor for the project.
