Ferndale – The Sullivan County Catskills Sportsmen Expo will be held on Friday, March 30th from 2-8 PM and Saturday, March 31st from 10 AM – 4 PM at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center in Callicoon, New York.  This is a rain or shine event as it will be held indoors at the Tennis Center at the Villa.  This is a perfect time with the trout season opener April 1 to get ideas, hints and suggestions on how to catch the big one.

Among the booths committed to the Expo are guided tours, sports shops, ATV dealers, outdoor recreational facilities, hunting & fishing supplies and lodging.  There will be live demonstrations in a dedicated demonstration area.  Among the demonstrators will be shad fishing by John Punola and Japanese fly fishing by Dave Dirks.  There will be a rock wall and a spider climb for kids’ entertainment.  Raffles for sporting goods, woodcarving and 50/50 held throughout the Expo.   There is a food and concessions area.

ADMISSION IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

The Expo is hosted by Sullivan County Visitors Association, Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and the Roscoe Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Catskill Shopper, Thunder 102, Sullivan County Democrat and the Spencer Daniels Agency.
