Ware Malcomb Celebrates Its 40 Year Anniversary!

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Leading design firm Ware Malcomb is celebrating its 40th Anniversary on April 1, 2012.  The theme for the anniversary is, "Ware Malcomb, 40 Years of Design - Celebrating Creativity, Collaboration and Optimism!"

Ware Malcomb was founded on April 1, 1972 by Bill Ware and Bill Malcomb.  Bill and Bill were classmates and friends who met and graduated from the University of Arizona.  Yes, they did pick April Fool's Day intentionally as the day to start their business!

Based in Irvine, California, Ware Malcomb began as a local architectural firm working with several young commercial real estate developers on projects through-out Orange County.  In the early 1990s, Ware Malcomb went through its first ownership transition, with Lawrence R. Armstrong and Jim Williams taking over as leaders for the company.  In 2006, Mr. Williams retired, with Mr. Armstrong staying on board as President and CEO.  Ware Malcomb is one of a handful of companies that has been headquartered in Irvine for 40 years.

Today, Ware Malcomb is led by CEO and President Lawrence R. Armstrong and Executive Vice Presidents, Kenneth Wink and Jay Todisco.   The company has grown into an international full service design firm offering planning, architecture, interior architecture and design, civil engineering and graphic design services to a variety of clients and markets.  The company's eleven (11) offices throughout North America have designed a broad array of projects including commercial office, corporate, industrial distribution, manufacturing, technology, retail, restaurants, healthcare, higher education, public, multi-family and hospitality.  

Ware Malcomb has consistently ranked in Engineering News Record Magazines' (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms, and in Interior Design Magazine Giants Top 100 Design Firms ranking.
