50 years of Swami Ganga Das ji Temple Jaipur

Swami Ganga Das ji temple, Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur completed 50 years of its foundation. Grand festival was celebrated for four days on the occasion. The festival was continued for March 31, 2012 to April 03, 2012. Thousands of devotees of Punjabi community of Jaipur visited Swami Ganga Das ji temple during the grand celebration of golden jubilee of the temple.

A cultural program, Bhajan program, fireworks program and dance programs were organized on April 03, 2012 to celebrate the golden jubilee of Swami Ganga Das ji temple. Maha Aarti of Swami ji was performed by the devotees with 500 earthen lamps (diya) at the end of the celebration.

Swami Ganga Das Seva Samiti also organized an exhibition in the temple. Details of Tank city of West Pakistan – the place of penance and prayers of Swami ji were exhibited in the exhibition by the photos and some documents. Sacred clothes of Swami ji were also exhibited in the exhibition. One of his coats was brought from a Gurudwara of Delhi and one of the coats was brought from a Gurudwara of Alwar (Rajasthan) for the exhibition.

A Bhandara was also organized in temple on this occasion. Thousands of devotees took Prasad and blessings of Swami ji. Many foreign tourists were also joined the golden jubilee celebration of the temple and experienced Indian culture, colors, religion and belief.
